The drop-point blade with a high-set saber grind is crafted from 80CrV2 steel, a material known for its excellent balance of toughness, edge retention, and impact resistance. Cutting, carving, and even light chopping are well within this outdoor knife's comfort zone. The blade's black stonewashed finish enhances durability while giving the knife a rugged, well-earned look. Maximum stability is ensured by a full-length tang that extends slightly beyond the handle, allowing the knife to withstand powerful baton strikes with ease. A short section of the blade spine features sharp 90-degree edges on both sides, ideal for striking sparks with an optional fire starter. The handle is made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), fully enclosing the tang and providing a secure, grippy texture. Resistant, elastic, non-slip, and low in thermal conductivity, TPE ensures safe, comfortable handling and a reliable grip in all weather and working conditions.
